Pasquale Garibaldi in his Milan studio

Pasquale Garibaldi · Milano

I'm a freelance illustrator based in Milan. I studied at IED, where I started as an animator — and that training in movement shaped everything I've done since: even static illustrations, for me, need to carry energy.

Over the years I developed a recognisable style — bold, colourful, with a strong narrative quality — that has taken me to work on editorial projects, advertising campaigns, sport and motion graphics for clients in Italy and abroad.

I'm increasingly drawn to projects where illustration isn't decoration — where it has something to say.

How I
work.

01
Brief & listening
Every project starts with a conversation. I want to understand not just what's needed visually, but why — what it needs to communicate, to whom, and in what context.
02
Concept & direction
I propose a clear direction before drawing. Sketches, moodboard or references — depending on the project. The goal is to align early, not correct late.
03
Execution
I work digitally, with organic textures or flat vector depending on the brief. Delivery times vary by complexity — but I always communicate progress.
04
Revisions & delivery
Two rounds of revisions are included. Delivery in the required formats, ready to use — digital, print or motion.
